Like everybody, I’ve got a blog, but really this is just a place for me to record my thoughts so I can come back to them later. Most of this stuff nobody will find interesting; at least they shouldn’t.

I live in Kirkland, WA with my wife Heather, son Logan and a baby on the way. My wife decided we needed to leave the small mortgage and long commute of our townhouse in Lynnwood behind to buy an outrageously over-priced run-down 60’s house … “but in a kid-friendly neighborhood in a good school district” … that needs a ton of work. And that’s what brings me to Kirkland.

From the categories, should be easy enough to figure out what I’m into. But a couple of things that don’t show up: We like to take as many vacations to places with warm water and sunny beaches as work/money will allow; I like stand-up comedy more than is healthy; We try to get to the Oregon Coast at least once a year for a long weekend; We don’t get a babysitter as often as we should; I buy new cars more than is healthy; I get angry when a graphically violent trailer for the latest horror movie comes on network TV at 7pm; I like Disney theme parks more than is healthy; I spend too much time in front of a computer.
